The National Civil Society Consultation Framework (CCNSC-RDC) and the Thematic Infrastructure Working Group with the Interface of Community Dynamics for Social Cohesion and Development organized on Tuesday February 02, 2021 a national workshop for the appropriation of SDGs phase 1.
To this end, they took the opportunity to officially launch the “ National Campaign on Social Cohesion and National Unity”.
In his intervention, Me Patient Bashombe Matabishi, national coordinator of CCNSC-DRC, specified that this campaign is part of the objective of preaching “social cohesion” in all provinces.
“ Obviously we have just organized a national workshop on the appropriation of sustainable objectives phase 1, and it was the opportunity to officially launch the National campaign on Social Cohesion and National Unity, because we said to ourselves when we symbolically launched this campaign in Goma on January 19, 2021, which we will continue in all the provinces to preach social cohesion as well as national unity… ”, declared Me Patient Bashombe.
It should be noted that more than 300 organizations took part in this activity, the main objective of which lies in the process of appropriation of the objects of sustainable development and to set up an operational and participatory strategy in order to achieve the 2030 agenda.
This workshop ended with the presentation of trophies of merit and recognition to civil society actors, who have distinguished themselves in the defense of the interests of the population as well as to the deans and patriarchs of civil society, including Modeste Bahati.
